Always trying for the moods, the reality, in every panel of Whisper. Here, I wanted to showcase just how she'd look and feel after returning home, tired, stripping off her costume and plopping on the sofa in the moonlight, scratching her cat. Desheveled hair. Slumped sitting posture. I thought of mood constantly with this series. Art-wise, I think # 18 is the only one really worth buying. Before that, I was learning and not too good; after that I was getting tired of the whole thing, stressed with the crazy work hours and deadlines. For this one issue I was in the 'zone'.
